Forest Park - Brisbane Forest Park is a huge,
diverse park of scribbly gums and lush rainforest, sprawling
over the hills at Brisbane’s back door. Enjoy great
lookouts, walking tracks and picnic areas, also a remote
secluded campsite for experienced walkers and navigators.
At Jolly’s Lookout (wheelchair accessible), cook
a barbecue while taking in the views over Samford Valley
and listening to early morning birdsong.

Set amongst beautifully manicured gardens and nestled
into the natural bushland of Brisbane Forest Park,
is the Summit Restaurant and Bar, Function Centre,
Kuta Cafe and Gift Shop and Observation Deck. Interpretive
facilities pointing out well known Brisbane landmarks
is located on the observation deck.
Coongara Rock - Coongarra Rock and Falls provide an
opportunity to explore rocky outcrops, caves, rock
pools and natural vegetation. It is possible to climb
the rock but should only be attempted by fit and experienced
bushwalkers. It is situated 24 kilometres south of
Biggenden and Coalstoun Lakes.
Capricorn Caves - Capricorn Cave
Tour is the premier nature based attraction in Central
Queensland. Here you can explore spectacular caves
in a limestone ridge and spot little insectivorous
bats in certain seasons. These magnificent caves are
located north of Rockhampton and winner of many major
tourism and environment awards and eco-tourism accreditation.
Hervey Bay -
Hervey Bay and its environs offer abundant and diverse
birdwatching
opportunities with over 250 species identified. Also
well known for great beaches.
Adventure Parc at Mt Tamborine - There are 65 elevated
challenges spread over four courses of varying difficulty.
The courses stretch through hectares of forest and
almost 1,000 towering trees at heights of up to 18
metres above the ground.
